Sandiantik Ltd. (the auctioneer) organizes and conducts the auction at the online platform of axioart.com at a pre-announced time on behalf of the clients (lot owners) as a commercial representative.

VIEWING OPPORTUNITY:

 

1. Sandiantik Ltd provides a personal viewing opportunity in their store during opening hours, with no registration required.

The store is located in Százhalombatta, just a short distance from Budapest, within a 2 minute walking distance from the bus and train stations.

2. It is not possible to make offers on the lots in the shop, we only accept bids through axioart.com.

 

AUCTION COMMISSION 18.5%

 

1. The buyer is obliged to pay a brokerage fee (commission) to the sales representative (auctioneer: Sandiantik Ltd), the amount of which is + 18.5% of the hammer price.The commission includes VAT. The final price of the lot(s) is calculated by adding 18.5 % to the bidding price. Example: hammer price of 10.000 HUF + 18.5 % = 11.850 HUF is the final price of the lot. In case of personal collection there are no further costs. In case of postage, a delivery fee will be charged, described below.

 

WAYS OF PARTICIPATING IN THE AUCTION:

 

1. Only registered users of Axioart can bid on the items. The registration and bidding are simple, and completely free:

2. In case you do not want to register on the website (although that is highly recommended), you can place a bid for the item(s) in person in our store.

 

COLLECTION AND DELIVERY OPTIONS:

 

1. After winning the auction, we consider personal collection to be the most reliable way for receiving the items, and we are always happy to meet our costumers and give the opportunity for pick up in our shop adhering to opening hours.

2. We are happy to post the items if required. We have 15 years of experience in sending parcels domestically and internationally, and always pack every item very carefully.

Sandiantik Kft has a contract with Magyar Posta Zrt. (the postal administration of Hungary) and we deliver the ordered items using their services.

The prices of domestically sent parcels depend on their size and weight and can be between 1500 HUF and 3200 HUF. The parcels can be ordered to your home address, to your local post office, or a pick-up point (PostaPont).

The delivery fee is an additional cost on top of the final price of the item(s). There might be the possibility to ship multiple items together and save on the delivery fee, but it is not granted. 

3. We also ship internationally within the EU for a discounted price between 2000 HUF and 5000 HUF / parcel.

4. For some of our items we do not offer postage. This will be indicated in the description of the item.

5. It is possible to choose a different way of delivery, (different courier company..etc) but it must be arranged by the costumer.

 

 

WARRANTY:

 

1. We have verified the originality of the auctioned items, within their given categories, as a certified antiquary - we undertake a full guarantee of originality. There is no place for an objection or protest after placing a bid, unless the item is fake, and it is listed as original in the catalog. In this case, the auction buyer may make a statement in writing within 30 days of the first substantiated doubt, but no later than 5 years from the date of the auction.

Our photos of the item correspond to reality, the description is written so that if an item is damaged, we describe it and show it in the photographs.

If an auctioned painting is coming in a frame, the frame may be damaged and worn. In this case we only mention in the description if the frame is damaged or not without further details, its condition cannot be claimed afterwards.

It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure of the condition of the auction lots and whether they correspond to the description of the catalog if they have any doubts. We try to provide all neccesary information with the description and photos. In addition, the items can be viewed in our store during the auction within our opening hours.

THE BIDDING PROCESS:

 

1. The bidding starts on the 13th October and lasts until the 3rd of November. The auction is open 24/7, Customers can bid on the items continuously for 22 days.

The auction ends at 18:00 (6PM CET) with a base time offset of 25 seconds.

2. The starting price of the items is set below their estimated value, which we have tried to make as favourable as possible. You can set your maximum bid higher than the next bid increment. In this case, if no other bidder reaches your set maximum price buy the end of the auction, you can buy the item for the price just one increment higher than the second highest bidder.

In the event you placed a bid on an item and it is outbid, axioart.com will notify you by email.

All final prices will be revealed on the closing date of the lot. The lot will become the property of the highest bidder when the winning bid + 18.5% commission is paid.

3. If a bid is received in the last 10 seconds of the auction, it will be possible to bid for the given item for another 10 seconds and this time will be continuously extended by 10 seconds if there is a bid fight for a given item. Serious bidders can bid according to the traditional auction routine.

4. Any collusion or attempt to induce a third party to offer a purchase price substantially above the market price and thereby cause damage is prohibited. Also prohibited is any collusion, sharing of profits or promises of advantage which may influence the outcome of the auction.

5. Bid at our auction , ONLY if you agree to pay the final amount that is the sum of the  expected hammer price plus 18.5% auction commission within 14 days of the closing of the auction. The customer also agrees to arrange the pick-up of the item(s) or have us send them by post - for postable items (read about delivery prices above at COLLECTION AND DELIVERY OPTIONS) Find the general rules of axioart.com (Terms and Conditions of Use) at https://axioart.com/aszf

 

POST-BIDDING PROCEDURES FOR ITEMS WON:

 

1. After the successful auction participation / purchase , both axioart.com and Sandiantik Ltd will contact the buyer via email, and inform you about the above mentioned pick-up and delivery options and we will provide our bank details.

After a successful purchase, you have a maximum of 14 days to receive/pay for the items. If shipping is required we can fulfill the posting within 6-7 working days, although in our personal experience that usually takes a shorter amount of time.

The 14 days mentioned above do not include the postage/shipping time. In any case, the easiest and safest way is collecting the items personally.

2. Payment options: in our shop by credit/debit card, cash payment, or bank transfer to the provided bank account.

 

 

CHARITY AUCTION :

 

Sandiantik Ltd, at our first big auction, will also launch a charity auction!

This lot will be lot number 100, for which the highest bid received, the final price + 18.5% will be for the Foundation named in the auction. This amount should be transferred to the account of the foundation, for which a transfer receipt should be sent to our email address, or paid in cash in our shop. We are also happy to post the object of this auction, or it can be picked up personally in our shop during our opening hours.
