Hermann Segesser was a Swiss photographer and graphic artist who worked in Zurich from around 1929. He is best known as the teacher of the well-known photographer Robert Frank, whom he taught from 1941 to 1942. With his teaching and his artistic work, Segesser had a significant influence on the development of photography in Switzerland.
